Your Impact
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Field Operations Director to join our WW Sales Operations Organization and lead transformative initiatives while supporting the business in Asia Pacific. The position is instrumental in driving Cloud acceleration programs and in supporting Corporate-led M&A initiatives across the region. The role also delivers key business processes that ensure sales productivity, positive customer experience, and the efficient execution of business operations.
The successful candidate will work at the intersection of multiple processes and functions, in a multi-cultural landscape, building in-depth business understanding by leveraging AI capabilities. The conjunction of these elements in a dynamic environment will allow you to grow your OpenText career in multiple directions.
What the Role Offers
Working in a highly energetic and international environment, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior sales leadership and global support functions to:
- Own strategic projects and lead dedicated workstreams that reflect the region’s specific needs and characteristics.
- Lead sales transformation initiatives to deliver the company’s strategy in the region.
- Support Corporate M&A activities and serve as the regional subject matter expert.
- Drive change management and readiness activities to support new systems, processes, and GTM motions across the region.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leadership on operational best practices, organizational planning, and strategic initiatives
- Drive the annual planning process by partnering with Sales Leadership to establish the financial plan, resource deployment, and quota setting for the upcoming year.
- Rigorously manage forecast execution and cadence by partnering with Sales Leadership to accurately drive and predict business performance for the current and future quarters.
- Design, optimize, and execute field operations processes that enhance sales effectiveness, efficiency, and pipeline visibility.
- Work collaboratively across functions to support the OpenText growth agenda.
What you need to Succeed
- A Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Sales or Revenue Operations.
- Strong experience in the software industry, with deep familiarity with sales processes and tools. Proven track record of leading strategic projects or transformative initiatives across multiple territories.
- Solid understanding of cloud business, including market potential and migration strategies.
- You will be flexible and adaptable to manage tie sensitive situations and work outside of conventional hours to communicate with global team members.
- Analytical and detail oriented mindset along with the ability to navigagte complex multi national matrixed organisations.
- You will be an energetic and passionate problem solver with an agile mindset and a track record of creating environments where people can do meaningful work.
- You Communicate clearly and confidently with team members and stakeholders across the company, and will be comfortable partnering with individual contributors, vendors, and C‑level executives.
- Possess excellent planning and organizational skills and is self‑motivated to deliver exceptional quality without supervision.
- Have the ability to regularly prioritize and work iteratively to maximize positive organizational impact.
- You are open to international work experiences and expresses values and opinions in fluent English.
- Apply a “work out loud” approach by making work‑in‑progress visible and being receptive to continuous feedback.
- You will be curious, actively seek inspiration, engage in discussions on new operational and organizational theories, technologies, and business challenges.
