YOUR IMPACT

The Manager, Applications – Security & Identity (IAM) oversees the end-to-end delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of application platforms within the Security and Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain. This role bridges technical delivery leadership, security-focused solution design, and stakeholder engagement to ensure identity and access solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Delivery & Execution Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of multiple concurrent Security and IAM initiatives from planning through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Define delivery roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, and success metrics aligned with security, risk, and operational priorities.
  • Track progress, manage dependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate delivery and technical risks.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and operational optimization.

Technical & Security Leadership

    • Provide technical leadership for IAM platforms including authentication, authorization, identity governance, and access control.
    • Review solution architecture, design artifacts, and technical documentation for quality, scalability, and security compliance.
    • Partner with Architecture teams to align solutions with approved standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
    • Ensure applications are secure-by-design, resilient, and maintainable.
    • Work closely with third-party vendors and partners, challenging solution designs to ensure they meet business and security requirements.

Team Management

    • Manage, mentor, and develop application engineers, technical leads, and analysts within the Security & IAM domain.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
    • Support performance management, career development, and talent growth within the team.
    • Resolve complex delivery, technical, and operational issues, escalating appropriately when required.

Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Partner with Product Owners, Architecture, and Business stakeholders.
    • Translate business and security requirements into actionable technical workstreams.
    • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and risk reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.

Governance, Risk & Quality

    • Ensure compliance with security policies, architectural governance, and operational standards.
    • Support audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
    • Oversee release management, change control, and post-deployment support for IAM platforms.
    • Champion standardization, reuse, and automation to improve security posture and delivery efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
    • 10+ years of experience in application development, technical delivery, or IT operations.
    • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale security or IAM solutions.
    • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and security best practices.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred

    • Experience in large, regulated enterprise environments.
    • Hands-on exposure to IAM, identity governance, authentication, and access management platforms.
    • Experience with cloud platforms and identity services.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering tools.
    • Relevant security, cloud, or leadership certifications.

Salary Range: $99,100 - $147,100; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
