Your Impact:
The Senior Security Compliance Analyst will serve as a key individual contributor within OpenText’s second line of defense, supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing maturity of the IT SOX Program. This role will focus on evaluating, monitoring, and enhancing IT General Controls (ITGCs) to ensure compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404. The analyst will partner closely with control owners, internal audit, and technology teams to assess control effectiveness, drive remediation efforts, and strengthen control governance. Additionally, this role will help optimize SOX processes through automation and improved workflows within our GRC platforms, contributing to the overall Global Security, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance Program.
What the role offers:
- Develop and enhance GRC and SOX‑focused compliance solutions to strengthen control operations, evidence management, and overall governance.
- Leverage technology, process optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration to support the achievement of SOX404 compliance objectives.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities that increase the efficiency, consistency, and reliability of IT SOX controls.
- Partner closely with IT control owners, internal and external auditors, and business stakeholders to support comprehensive, end‑to‑end SOX program activities.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and centralized SOX control data while facilitating detailed requirements‑gathering sessions aligned with ITGC and SOX frameworks.
- Apply deep ITGC and SOX404 expertise to drive continuous improvement, strengthen the control environment, and promote standardized, technology‑enabled governance practices.
What you need to Succeed:
- 3 years of experience in IT audit and/or compliance, with a background in Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404.
- Understanding of GRC tools such as AuditBoard and working knowledge of an SAP ERP and financial process.
- Good technical, analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- A background of evaluating the design and effectiveness of controls and experience working with auditors/regulators for compliance assessments.
- Ability to work both independently and within a global team environment.
- Strong project management experience.
- The ability to operate in a dynamic environment and handle numerous concurrent projects with a sense of urgency and ownership.
- Demonstrated strength in working in a constantly changing environment.
- Strong personal characteristics as demonstrated by the following: Owner’s mindset, achievement-oriented, self-controlled, self-confident, flexible, approachable, and dedicated.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or related vocations.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.
Salary Range: $67,900.00 - $101,900.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
