Your Impact

The Director, FP&A serves as the primary financial partner to the Vice‑President, Corporate Finance, providing strategic and operational support that directly drives business value.

In this role, you sit at the center of the company’s financial operations. You support the Vice‑President across management reporting (Board and Executive materials, budgets, forecasts), partner with the CAO organization on close and external reporting, and oversee consolidated management reporting for the enterprise. Success requires deep analytical capability, strong business and finance acumen, and the ability to work autonomously while synthesizing insights from multiple data sources to guide decisions and trade‑offs.

The role demands exceptional communication skills, the ability to prioritize inputs from numerous cross‑functional stakeholders, and the capacity to manage competing high‑priority requests. You will design and adapt models that incorporate scenario planning and leading metrics, ensuring processes evolve with the needs of a fast‑growing, dynamic environment.

A strong Director, FP&A demonstrates visible leadership, elevates financial planning and reporting processes, and operates effectively in a fast‑paced setting. This leader influences and partners with contributors at all levels, leveraging a team‑centric approach to deliver high‑impact results.

What The Role Offers

  • Producing insightful financial management reporting (Board materials, Budgets and Forecasts at a consolidated level) by overseeing detailed analysis that can be summarized at an executive level
  • Managing Finance cadence, meetings, forecasting and deliverables that evolve rapidly.
  • Supporting the annual strategic and budgeting/planning process
  • Providing day to day leadership for their team, including hiring, performance appraisals, goal setting and compensation reviews as well as leadership and coaching as needed
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity, identifying issues proactively and working with cross-functional business partners to address.
  • Developing “what if” scenarios and models to solve problems and provide recommendations and insights.
  • Leading specific Finance projects
  • Identifying and assessing risks & opportunities, and able to mitigate risks with creative solutions
  • Performing ad hoc analysis as required

What You Need To Succeed

  • 10+ years of related experience, with demonstrated capability at the Executive level
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or other quantitative discipline required; Master's Degree or CPA preferred
  • Strong data analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated presence and engaged, visible leadership, with an ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally. Proven ability to engage and develop organizational resources and talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact, influence and collaborate with finance peers
  • Process improvement skills. Proven ability in driving continuous improvement.
  • High tech, Internet, or Computer industry experience is preferred
  • Expert skills in using tools necessary to build dynamic modeling
  • Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: SAP, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects, other data extraction tools), proficiency in Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, v-lookup & Macros. Experience in leveraging AI to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and execute tasks with short lead times. Ability to flourish / function in ambiguity
