Your impact
As a Sr. HRSS Payroll Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll across multiple OpenText entities globally. Leveraging your expertise in payroll and HCM platforms, you will own the end-to-end payroll cycle — monitoring inputs, reconciling outputs, analysing accrual balances, and managing complex country-specific requirements. Your work directly supports employee trust, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of our financial operations.

What the role offers

  • Ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for complex, multi-national entities with country-specific tax and pension requirements
  • A collaborative environment working alongside lead specialists, senior managers, and key stakeholders including HR, Legal, Tax, and internal/external auditors
  • The opportunity to act as a key contact point for auditors and to develop meaningful relationships with local and regional tax authorities
  • Exposure to industry-leading platforms including ADP Globalview, SAP SuccessFactors, and finance general ledger systems
  • A role with real decision-making responsibility, where your ability to identify risks, escalate issues, and recommend corrective actions makes a tangible business impact
  • Scope to apply additional language skills in servicing international payrolls, engaging directly with vendors, legal authorities, and auditors across the countries you support

What you need to succeed

  • 3–5 years of direct payroll experience in a multinational company, with strong knowledge of country-specific payroll tax processes and regulations
  • A college diploma or equivalent professional experience, with a payroll certification preferred (e.g. FPC or CPP)
  • Hands-on experience with outsourced payroll platforms such as ADP Globalview, Streamline, or Celergo, and familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors HCM
  • The ability to work independently on complex payroll issues, presenting well-reasoned solutions and escalating risks in a timely and structured manner
  • High standards of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee and financial data
  • Foreign language proficiency relevant to your country of hire, supporting effective communication with local authorities, vendors, and stakeholders

One last thing
OpenText is more than just a corporation; it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
