Your impact

As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and success of OpenText solutions hosted in the OpenText Cloud. By providing expert production support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating across teams, you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining service excellence for enterprise customers worldwide.

What the role offers

  • Provide hands-on production support, troubleshooting, and administration for enterprise customers using OpenText Cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Support, IT, Network Operations, and Professional Services teams to resolve complex cross-functional technical issues.
  • Monitor applications, servers, and devices, responding to alerts and incidents to meet service level commitments.
  • Administer and support production applications such as OpenText Content Server and/or xECM in accordance with established procedures.
  • Join a growing, collaborative team focused on delivering world-class operational support and customer satisfaction.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of enterprise technologies, cloud environments, and mission-critical customer systems.

What you need to succeed

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support, consulting, or technical operations environment supporting enterprise-level, multi-tier applications.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent support and first-call resolution.
  • Experience administering Windows and/or UNIX systems within TCP/IP networked environments.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, along with basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, Shell, Java, JavaScript).
  • Exposure to web and application servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss) and modern technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Adaptability, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment; experience with OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, or PowerDocs is an advantage.
