Your Impact
As an Account Executive in OpenText’s Observability & Service Management (OSM)
business unit, you’ll drive new business and expand existing relationships across
enterprise organizations in the UK. You’ll help customers modernize and automate IT
operations with OpenText’s OSM portfolio, leading complex sales cycles, engaging
senior stakeholders, and positioning AI-powered solutions.
What the Role Offers
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to contract signature.
• Sell OSM solutions: SMAX, Operations Bridge, Network Operations Management,
and Hybrid Cloud Management.
• Build strong relationships with CIOs, IT Directors, and senior IT leaders.
• Develop and execute strategic account and go-to-market plans.
• Navigate complex procurement and contracting processes.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, legal, and delivery teams.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM.
• Represent OpenText at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings.
What You Need to Succeed
• Proven success in enterprise software sales and complex deal closure.
• Hunting exposure is needed .
• Strong knowledge of IT operations, observability, service management, and
cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement and framework agreements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
• Consultative, customer-focused, and self-motivated approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent)
