OpenText is recruiting for an outstanding Principal Solutions Consultant (ITOM, AI, and Cross-Portfolio) based in Seoul, Korea

Purpose of Position
Drive additional revenue by working with customers and prospects to solve their business problems/issues. The Solutions Consultant will assist clients in defining specifications and requirements, build customized demonstrations of OpenText applications and provide technology presentations to both technical and management-level audiences.

Primary Duties
- Working closely with Sales Account Executives to assist in pre-sales activity by providing the business & technical recommendations and configuration scenarios to prospective customers
- Proactively expand knowledge boundaries by learning and adopting newly introduced technologies and diverse solution lines within the OpenText portfolio to foster cross-selling opportunities.
- Work with current and prospective customers and partners to map complex business requirements into high-value OpenText ITOM, AI, and broader cross-portfolio solutions, ensuring a holistic approach to solving customer challenges
- Prepare and deliver high-impact business & technical presentations, alongside flexible, value-driven product demonstrations (standalone or multi-solution integrated workflows), to effectively address customer painpoints
- Research and respond to technical inquires from customer and prospects including RFP/RFI and RFQs
- Contribute to OpenText’s body of knowledge by providing enablement and feedback to management and other parts of the organization (ie. provide feedback to development staff on future product enhancements, quarterly win/loss reports, enablement to internal working teams or other activities designated by management)
- Review and remain current on new solution features and competitor offerings
- Design and develop utilities for customer projects
- Work well with customers, project service team, engineering team, and product support team

Skills and Knowledge
- Core ITOM Domain Expertise: Profound knowledge and hands-on understanding of enterprise IT Operations Management (ITOM) concepts and architectures. Experience with OpenText ITOM solutions (specifically Operations Bridge, Operations Orchestration, Server Automation, and Network Operations Management) or equivalent industry-leading alternative platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, IBM, Broadcom/CA, BMC) is highly preferred.
- Advanced AI Technology Competency: Strong technical competency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and a solid understanding of how to leverage AI capabilities to drive innovation and efficiency within enterprise solution architectures.
- Versatile Solution Architecture & Cross-Product Integration: Robust ability to articulate the value of OpenText’s diverse solution portfolio. This includes the capability to deep-dive into individual products standalone, as well as architect integrated, cross-solution scenarios that connect multiple products to deliver comprehensive enterprise value.
- Agile & Open Mindset for Technology Expansion: An open-minded, highly adaptable approach to learning and mastering various product lines across the enterprise software portfolio beyond one's core domain, proactively embracing new technologies and evolving business needs.
- Value-Driven Customer Painpoint Analysis: Proven ability to deeply investigate, analyze, and diagnose diverse customer business challenges and technical painpoints, translating them into tailored value propositions mapped to product features and functions.
- High-Impact, Flexible Product Demonstrations: Exceptional expertise in designing and delivering customized product demonstrations across a diverse product portfolio, extending well beyond ITOM. Capable of delivering a focused, standalone product demo for any specific solution to address a targeted technical need, or constructing an end-to-end, multi-solution demonstration workflow to showcase broader strategic value.
- Structured Logical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Excellent logical thinking and analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex technical problems and designing architectural configuration scenarios.
- Bilingual Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent professional verbal and written communication, effective documentation, and presentation skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to build trust with both highly technical audiences and executive management.

Education
Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferably a field related to Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
