The resource will be part of a Managed Services team providing Application Management and Maintenance for OpenText customers spread across the globe. Wide breadth of skills enabling one to solve complex problems in the areas of Application Availability, Performance and Capacity both in terms of incidents and problems. Experience in Production Operations (or Support) plus Software Maintenance are a must. Consultant is responsible for the technical delivery of the StreamServe/Exstream Platform based solutions. Such delivery activities encompass the deployment and troubleshooting to specific items of core product functionality or its integration components. It entails custom developments and enhancements over existing customizations.

What the role offers:

  • Install, configure, maintain and monitor one or more OpenText (OT) products/solutions in the Cloud: OT Cloud, Customer premises, or 3rd party IaaS.
  • Troubleshoot and find resolutions/workarounds to incidents
  • Research and fix problems in configuration at Application Level, also demonstrating adequate knowledge of OS and Network as applications work in that context. Problems can be related to availability, performance, or capacity.
  • Work on performance tuning within or outside OTES.
  • Performing deployments and applying product patches. Perform Upgrades, Migrations.
  • Work in shifts: Morning, Regular and Afternoon on rotation basis.
  • Participate and contribute to technical design & deployment activities.
  • Participate in the advanced configuration of SS/Exstream software components, in line with project and customer time scales.
  • Familiar with modules Control Center, Design Center.
  • Actively contribute in patching and upgrade activities where possible to achieve operational efficiencies.

What you need to succeed:

  • Hands-on experience with OpenText Stream Serve StoryTeller and Design Manager.
  • Hands-on experience with Control Center, Communication Builder, and Workshop.
  • Strong knowledge of Input Connectors and Output Connectors.
  • Good knowledge of OpenText Directory Services (OTDS).
  • Good understanding of Pagein Events and XML Events.
  • Experience configuring and managing Runtime Configuration.
  • Ability to configure and manage Projects, Applications, and Services within the StreamServe runtime environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of the StreamServe document generation lifecycle.
  • Experience integrating StreamServe/Exstream with OpenText Content Server and OpenText Archive Server.
  • Well-versed in the deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of OpenText StreamServe/Exstream platforms and their surrounding components.
  • Experience in extending existing customizations, implementing enhancements, and defect fixing.
