The Opportunity

The Hybrid Solution Sales Executive (Business Network Cloud) is a senior solution sales specialist responsible for driving Business Network Cloud growth across a portfolio of enterprise and strategic customers in the German-speaking region of Switzerland. Working in close partnership with Client Executives and Account Executives, the Hybrid Solution Sales Executive develops industry-specific solution strategies, identifies transformational opportunities, and positions the OpenText Business Network Cloud portfolio to help customers digitise supply chains, optimise B2B integration, modernise trading partner ecosystems, and accelerate digital transformation.

The portfolio spans leading organisations across the Manufacturing & Industrial, Financial Services & Insurance, and Life Sciences & Healthcare sectors. The Hybrid Solution Sales Executive is responsible for developing trusted executive relationships, identifying whitespace opportunities, and expanding OpenText's Business Network footprint across existing customers while acquiring new strategic business.

Working collaboratively with Client Executives, Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Professional Services, Channel Partners and Product Management, the Hybrid Solution Sales Executive serves as the Business Network Cloud subject matter expert, leading customer engagements from discovery through executive presentations, solution design, commercial negotiations and successful close.

The role requires a consultative, value-led sales approach focused on helping customers optimise digital supply chains, automate B2B transactions, improve supplier collaboration, strengthen regulatory compliance, increase supply chain visibility, and deliver measurable business outcomes through the OpenText Business Network Cloud portfolio.

You Are Great At

Strategic Solution Sales

  • Driving Business Network Cloud software, cloud and subscription revenue across a portfolio of enterprise and strategic customers.
  • Developing customer-specific Business Network strategies aligned with supply chain modernisation, digital commerce, procurement transformation and enterprise integration initiatives.
  • Partnering with Client Executives and Account Executives to identify whitespace opportunities and accelerate account growth.
  • Building trusted relationships with CIOs, Chief Procurement Officers, Supply Chain Executives, Finance Leaders, Operations Executives and IT decision-makers.
  • Positioning OpenText Business Network Cloud solutions across B2B Integration, EDI, Managed File Transfer, API Integration, e-Invoicing, eProcurement, Supply Chain Visibility, Digital Trading Networks and Financial Messaging.

Enterprise Solution Leadership

  • Leading complex enterprise solution sales opportunities from qualification through executive engagement, solution positioning, commercial negotiation and successful close.
  • Delivering executive workshops, business value presentations and consultative solution discussions focused on measurable customer outcomes.
  • Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, Strategic Partners and Sales teams to deliver successful digital transformation programmes.
  • Supporting opportunities across the Manufacturing & Industrial, Financial Services & Insurance, and Life Sciences & Healthcare sectors.

Business Growth

  • Achieving and exceeding annual software, cloud, services and recurring revenue targets.
  • Developing long-term Business Network transformation strategies aligned with customers' strategic business priorities.
  • Expanding OpenText's Business Network footprint through cross-sell, upsell and new logo acquisition opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity progression while contributing to regional growth objectives.
