The Opportunity:
As a Senior Consultant – InfoArchive, you will work closely with Professional Services consultants, architects, and customer stakeholders to design, implement, and deliver enterprise-scale OpenText InfoArchive solutions. This role requires a unique blend of solution architecture, customer engagement, and hands-on technical expertise across InfoArchive, enterprise applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of information archiving strategies, end-to-end business processes, and the underlying IT ecosystem required to support successful archive implementations.
You are great at:
- Representing OpenText in a professional manner to customers, partners and other OpenText personnel at all times
- Work with other consultants reporting to a project manager while assigned to active customer engagements. Collaborate with the project manager to define the project plan, risk mitigation plan, quality checklists and regularly communicate status to the project manager. Proactively identify issues and implement preventive/remedial measures
- Understand requirements, assist client facing team members in envisioning and documenting the conduct detailed design and build, determine level of effort, and implementation approach
- Acquire OpenText Proven Certification in Info Archive Administrator
- Understand customer needs and develop high-quality presentations, proposals and software demonstrations that speak of these needs.
What it takes:
- Overall experience of 6–10 years of experience in OpenText InfoArchive and enterprise archiving solutions.
- Detailed hands-on experience in Info Archive shell, Submission Information Packages (SIP) SDK, Info Archive REST architecture, Info Archive gateway/ Web Applications.
- Thorough understanding of concepts of table archiving, data record archiving, file archiving and compound business record archiving.
- Knowledge of Installation, Administration of Info Archive Solution on Prem and /or Public Cloud like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience in Java & J2EE software development and good experience in HTML/ JavaScript, AngularJS and other web technologies.
- Experience in ETL tools like Content Bridge, Open Text Integration Center, Talend Archon other third part ETL tools used for SIP Creation.
- Knowledge of xDB and PostgreSQL (Installation, Configuration and Administration) or any other similar Database.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and hands on experience in working on oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL server - Structural / unstructured database, query management experience.
- Knowledge on shell/bash create & install application, create retention, search, configurations using encryption and masking in data ingestion and search.
- Excellent problem solving, planning, and organizing skills and flexible approach.
- Knowledge of systems architecture design & planning utilizing physical and virtualized environments
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex technical topics in a manner non-technical stakeholder can easily understand
- Good team player with effective motivation skills, collaboration, and prioritization skills
- Strong planning and analytical skills combined with ability to work with geographically distributed teams in a rapid development model
