The Content Services business unit provides content platforms used by thousands of organizations to manage business content on-premise, in public cloud and private cloud with a diverse portfolio of mature products as well as emerging products.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the integration of Content Management with the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is responsible for delivering seamless, enterprise-grade experiences that connect content, business processes, and collaboration across Microsoft platforms, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 desktop applications, and related productivity services.

The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise software product management experience with deep knowledge of Microsoft collaboration and productivity platforms.

What the role offers:

  • Responsible for on time product delivery while ensuring that overarching product goals are met, including documentation and setup logistics such as release engineering. Emphasis is also placed on roll-out activities supporting functions in Sales, Professional Services, Learning Services, the Support organization, and key partners.
  • Work with key customers(internal/external) to acquire and respond to product feedback for future product releases and communicate roadmap details.
  • Synthesize and prioritize across customers’ wants and needs, balancing them with company strategy and capabilities to define the product roadmap
  • Maintain day to day contact with the software development group to refine and revise Product Specifications and implementation details, based on an agile/iterative development process; encouraging the team to innovate within the boundaries of market segments, personas, goals, and problems to solve.
  • Understand product competitors and support development of competitive responses for sales and marketing.
  • Manage full product life cycle

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Content Services, or Information Management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Teams application development, and Microsoft 365 extensibility.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a multi-geography, cross-departmental role on a high visibility project
  • Agility to keep abreast of the fast-paced evolution of Microsoft platform roadmap and different integration points.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a product manager / product owner or equivalent role (“hands on” experience working closely with development teams)
  • Familiarity with Copilot and how it integrates with a content management system to help users create, manage, discover, and optimize content through AI-powered workflows.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills with an analytical approach and ability to effectively communicate at a high level to customers, ELT as well as detailed level to developers and peers in product management.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $118,000.00 - $168,000.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
