Principal SAP Software Developer

YOUR IMPACT
In this exciting in-house role, you will join a great team to develop our highly successful SAP reseller products.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Work with a highly experienced engineering team in an agile environment to design and deliver innovative solutions for OpenText's SAP product portfolio.
• Serve as the technical lead for core product components, define architectural direction, and guide the engineering team in adopting best practices, modern technologies, and industry standards for the SAP Vendor Invoice Management solution.

• Own the end-to-end software product lifecycle, influencing technical direction and establishing engineering policies, best practices, and quality standards.
• Collaborate and coordinate with engineering teams and diverse stakeholders to deliver new product capabilities and drive the adoption of existing solutions leveraging the latest SAP technologies.

• Continuously expand your expertise in emerging technologies, industry standards, and SAP innovations, with a strong passion for SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Business AI, Joule, and intelligent enterprise solutions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification with at least 10 years of professional experience as a developer and architect
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA development, with expert-level ABAP programming skills, strong knowledge of SAP architecture, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and a solid understanding of SAP Business AI, Joule, and AI-driven extensibility and automation concepts.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and the SAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking skills, solution- and scenario-oriented thinking, and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to simplify and convey complex matters and advice across diverse stakeholders
• Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; German is a strong advantage
